Dusk is the uncertain light that immediately follows sunset. At Ployez-Jaquemart, this bedroom faces north, so the light is soft and diffused throughout the day. The wallpaper chosen for the room reflects this spirit, with dreamlike landscapes set against a totally black background and bright, subdued touches of pastel that capture the radiance of sunset.

The furniture, with its revisited traditional connotations, was an obvious choice, given that this room overlooks the estate’s French-style garden, which is itself conventional.

Booking a room at Champagne Ployez-Jacquemart gives you access to:
