Suite Renaissance
This suite has been designed around the original decoration of the room and its name: the “baroque” room, where the walls and furniture were red to recall this period and its splendour. When we redecorated, without following the historical chronology, we wanted to keep this singular spirit and mark the “Renaissance” of this room and of guest rooms in general. The space features a marvellous tangle of sunbursts and golden tips contrasting with the surrounding solid black surfaces.
The furniture has also been chosen to match an emblematic period, as all the pieces are iconic: you’ll find the Panton chairs designed in 1959 by Verner Panton, the eclisse bedside lamps designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, and the timeless pipistrelle lamp, also from 1965, designed by Gae Aulenti. All these iconic pieces are constantly being revived, despite the different trends that have emerged over time.
